Pentheus & Bacchus
A 1960s twist on the classic Ovid myth where Pentheus the King of Thebes is a Traditionalist General Manager of a financial company, stuck in the past. God of wine-making, insanity and festivities Bacchus, and his Bacchites are represented by the hedonistic youth of the ‘Swinging Sixties’ who are desperate for a change in the starchy structure of society existing in post-war Britain.
